Men's sexuality and men's authority

For this topic we are learning from Genesis 38:1-30

  1. And it came to pass at that time, that Judah went down from his brethren, and turned in to a certain Adullamite, whose name was Hirah.
  2. And Judah saw there a daughter of a certain Canaanite, whose name was Shuah; and he took her, and went in unto her.
  3. And she conceived, and bare a son; and he called his name Er.
  4. And she conceived again, and bare a son; and she called his name Onan.
  5. And she yet again conceived, and bare a son; and called his name Shelah: and he was at Chezib, when she bare him.
  6. And Judah took a wife for Er his firstborn, whose name was Tamar.
  7. And Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD slew him.
  8. And Judah said unto Onan, Go in unto thy brother's wife, and marry her, and raise up seed to thy brother.
  9. And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother.
  10. And the thing which he did displeased the LORD: wherefore he slew him also.
  11. Then said Judah to Tamar his daughter in law, Remain a widow at thy father's house, till Shelah my son be grown: for he said, Lest peradventure he die also, as his brethren did. And Tamar went and dwelt in her father's house.
  12. And in process of time the daughter of Shuah Judah's wife died; and Judah was comforted, and went up unto his sheepshearers to Timnath, he and his friend Hirah the Adullamite.
  13. And it was told Tamar, saying, Behold thy father in law goeth up to Timnath to shear his sheep.
  14. And she put her widow's garments off from her, and covered her with a vail, and wrapped herself, and sat in an open place, which is by the way to Timnath; for she saw that Shelah was grown, and she was not given unto him to wife.
  15. When Judah saw her, he thought her to be an harlot; because she had covered her face.
  16. And he turned unto her by the way, and said, Go to, I pray thee, let me come in unto thee; (for he knew not that she was his daughter in law.) And she said, What wilt thou give me, that thou mayest come in unto me?
  17. And he said, I will send thee a kid from the flock. And she said, Wilt thou give me a pledge, till thou send it?
  18. And he said, What pledge shall I give thee? And she said, Thy signet, and thy bracelets, and thy staff that is in thine hand. And he gave it her, and came in unto her, and she conceived by him.
  19. And she arose, and went away, and laid by her vail from her, and put on the garments of her widowhood.
  20. And Judah sent the kid by the hand of his friend the Adullamite, to receive his pledge from the woman's hand: but he found her not.
  21. Then he asked the men of that place, saying, Where is the harlot, that was openly by the way side? And they said, There was no harlot in this place.
  22. And he returned to Judah, and said, I cannot find her; and also the men of the place said, that there was no harlot in this place.
  23. And Judah said, Let her take it to her, lest we be shamed: behold, I sent this kid, and thou hast not found her.
  24. And it came to pass about three months after, that it was told Judah, saying, Tamar thy daughter in law hath played the harlot; and also, behold, she is with child by whoredom. And Judah said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt.
  25. When she was brought forth, she sent to her father in law, saying, By the man, whose these are, am I with child: and she said, Discern, I pray thee, whose are these, the signet, and bracelets, and staff.
  26. And Judah acknowledged them, and said, She hath been more righteous than I; because that I gave her not to Shelah my son. And he knew her again no more.
  27. And it came to pass in the time of her travail, that, behold, twins were in her womb.
  28. And it came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first.
  29. And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, How hast thou broken forth? this breach be upon thee: therefore his name was called Pharez.
  30. And afterward came out his brother, that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah.
The whole chapter is talking about an event that we need to read to get the whole story but I want to discuss more on verse 18, Judah wanted to sleep with someone he thought is an harlot and he couldn't take his eyes off her because it is his sexual urge that is controlling him against the godly wisdom that should have been in control.  He exchanged a 5 minutes enjoyment with an harlot with his staff, his signet and his bracelet. Someone would have thought, like we all assume Samson should have been wise to do too, why will I exchange something valuable to me with sex, but he exchanged them with sex because he couldn't control himself. God promised the staff will never leave Judah's hands but here he is exchanging it with a silly thing. Do you people see how valuable the things he exchanged for sex are, the staff is his source of money, because that is what he used to control animals he take care of us which his is work. Do you men see how you lose money too just to sleep with women that are not your wives. Another thing he exchanged for sex is his signet, that is like his signature, that is what makes way for him everywhere, because that is his identity, like his destiny in today's interpretations. Some can be the license as a medical doctor, some can be high positions, some can be pastor position, we see how men lose this valuable positions in the world today because of illicit sex. Some even lose their wives and marriage to sexual immorality, some lose their divine partners that is the person they ought to get married to that would have given them a fulfilled destiny because they have impregnated another girl who gave them sex easily not knowing they have exchanged something that they will cry and regret losing in that easy sex. The bracelet is the decorations, more like valuables, respect, do you men see how you lose respect because you are engaged in promiscuous lifestyle.

I want to add, no sex is free, if all you lose is money, that could be gained back, but many things you lose are things you can't see with the physical eyes. The authority God gave men is to control everything including your sexual urge. Stop being uncontrollable, stop being careless with your sexual life, it is dangerous. Lots of men who did this in the past became an object of ridicule later in life, it's better to learn from people's experiences than waiting to have same experience before you learn.

What love is not

For this topic we are going to be using a bible passage God pointed my eyes to as text for this topic a while ago. Usually it is used to interpret things happening in perilous times but God pointed it to me as things opposite to what love means. If we have learnt what love is then we need to learn what love is not. Thank God we have a bible passage to back it up for us.

We are reading 2 Timothy 3:1-9

  1. This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
  2. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
  3. Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
  4. Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
  5. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
  6. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
  7. Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
  8. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
  9. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

Verse 2 started with qualities that are not love but which we need to be sensitive to the leading of the word of God not to ignore these qualities when trying to find love. It started with, someone who is a lover of their own selves but saying with mouth that they love you or even sleeping with you or giving you romantic moments, it is not love. Let all men be false and God alone true.

Most of the times women misinterpret touching to love, that is because of the oxytocin released at such times, reason I always advise girls not to allow men to touch them, I do that too, I make men to move away from getting close to me so I can know who they really are, many of them can't hide their monsters for long, it comes out. Imagine after assuming a man loves you then you because he touches you at places that makes you feel relieved only to find out later that he has wife with kids. That is the reason we cannot leave bible out when we want to know what love is.

The list goes on from verse 2, but I also want to discuss verse 6 elaborately, it says, they lead silly women captive, that is God recognizing  how gullible a lot of women can be, at little toasting they already believed what the man says without taking time to find the truth. The other word I also want to talk about is leading to captivity, that means any man who keeps you as a captive doesn't love you. Don't confuse it. A lot of women misinterpret love, when a man bullies them and treat them as slave they say it is because he loves them so much, the bible is teaching us the truth here that it is not love. Like I said in the past post, we can have our own definition as human beings but only the bible can give us the perfect definition for any confused topic and such definitions doesn't hurt us later. Furthermore in that verse, it talks about lusting. That is to say, a man who is lusting after your body is not love. Lots of girls even dress almost naked around their boyfriends every time with the interpretation that he is always in love with me when he sees me wearing those skimpy dresses. My dear, that is not love. Love is deeper than your looks. As a matter of fact, love is mostly tested when you are in your vulnerable state and your partner protects you and still loves you as much as when you are strong. if all your love is about the makeup, fake hairs, fake eyelashes, naked dresses, you will hurt yourself because that means whenever you are weak, your body starts changing or you dress to cover up yourself, the love vanishes.
Same goes with a woman who only loves you because you are rich, the day your money finishes, she will find someone richer to be with. And this is completely wrong to what love is. Love believes all things, it doesn't change with seasons and times, situations doesn't change love. I pray God helps us to take God's definition so we quit hurting ourselves and someone else.

What Is Love According To The Bible

The topic, "what is love" is a topic different people have different meanings to. Some people interpret it in ways that is toxic and selfish. That is why we have the bible to direct us on the true meaning. Bible says, let all men be false and God alone true. That means, whenever we are confused, we can always go back to God to clear our confusions.

We are using the bible passage, 1Corinthians 13:1-13 to lead us in the true meaning of love.

  1. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
  2. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
  3. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
  4. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
  5. Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
  6. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
  7. Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
  8. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
  9. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
  10. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
  11. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
  12. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
  13. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
Verse 1 says, though I speak with the tongues of Angels and I have not charity, I am a sounding cymbal, what that means is, it is possible you meet someone who appear zealous in the things of God, that doesn't guarantee that they have love, bible instructs us to try all spirits and know the truth. Meaning, we need to confirm the qualities of love in them before we conclude they have love.
Verse 2 and verse 2 are also buttressing the points in verse 1, lots of men go after a woman for years in attempt to get her to date them, some do very stressful things but the bible here is telling us that we should not see those things as love, because lots of men have done that in the past and still turned into monster after they were able to buy the woman to love them.
Verse 4 started with what love is exactly, and these are the things we should look out for when we want to know if someone has love towards us truly, not the worldly interpretations that lead to hurting one another later. God Himself showed us what love is in His behavior towards us. Bible says, God showed his love towards us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Meaning God gave His only saw to a people who are continually hurting Him with their ways with the hope that they will not perish if they accept this work of salvation Jesus Christ did. That is love. Love doesn't need to be transactional, lots of people interpret love to mean, I give you money then you give me sex, that is not love. Love is always after the well being of the other person even if they are too weak to return the favor to you.  Lots of men only love their women when she is well dressed and attractive, at other times when she is week, they are out there looking for another sexually attractive woman to tell that he loves her, that is not love. Love is naturally kind. It always want to do good, Love doesn't plan downfall of the other person, it is always looking for the good of the other person.
Another thing about love is, it doesn't plan evil with the other person, if your type of relationship is the one both of you always devise plans to hurt people, either by duping them of their money or worshipping devil together in those things you do, ranging from both of you committing fornication to disobeying parents, bible makes us to know that is not love. Both of you will hurt each other eventually.
We all see how our parents show us love, when we know nothing about life, how they guide us through, when we were babies and couldn't take care of ourselves, they were selfless to do things for us and make sure we are fine. This is love. Then suddenly we grow up and start giving another interpretation to love. Some even think love is sex and romance😏 did our parents need to sleep with us before we know they love us? No they didn't, that is because, interpreting sex as love is wrong. May God help us to accept the God's definition of love so that we don't get hurt or hurt someone we claim to love. Amen.

Proverbs 31

Usually Proverbs 31 is usually used for teaching godly women how to be virtuous. In this podcast, we will point our eyes to that part many people ignore. Beginning of the chapter Proverbs 31 started with a king saying these are the words of his mother to him. As much as we want to use proverbs 31 to teach women, it is addressing men more because it is pointing their eyes to things they should do if they want to fulfill their great destinies of being a king.

The king's  mother started by saying, it is not good for kings to drink strong drinks, then she proceeded to saying, don't give your strength to women as a man who has great destiny. Let your sense always be with you. Don't be the type that becomes uncontrollable at seductive looks of woman. Then she continued by telling her son what type of woman he should be with, the virtuous woman, who has good qualities that can make a king fulfill his great destiny, then the chapter ended with beauty is vain and favor is deceitful but a woman that fears  the Lord she shall be praised.

I want to add that, no one is saying you as a man should be with an ugly woman,  but if you are a king, by king I mean a man who is conscious of his destiny and protects it at all cost, sadly lots of men don't protect their destinies, they allow their lustful desires to choose woman for them.
