Christianity is a religion that builds our relationship with God. It has nothing to do with the physical traditions, like what we wear or the particular way we talk. God is interested in our hearts. How do we act when we are in our closet and we are alone and no one is there to see us except God, do we have the fear of God so much that we will still do the right things people know us with in public even in the dark. That is Christianity, the relationship with God that Adam and Eve lost in the garden of Eden, Christianity brings it back. Today, God is teaching us again as His children that fear Him that we should honour Him even while we are poor and temptations come like it came to Jesus that He should bow down to the devil and the devil will give Him wealth, fame and all riches of the world, Jesus Christ who is the author and finisher of our faith didn't fall into the temptation, He overcame, He is our perfect example, and He wants us to do the same. Even if it is difficult, God wants us to stand for Him and not bow down to the devil because of anything at all. The people who wait on God, God says they will continue to flourish and will never stop yielding fruits. That is what we want for ourselves too. It means, we don't get swept away and forgotten after a particular trend, our glory continues to rise and shine. But we must wait on God to get the blessings that is from God and not looking for a short time blessings that adds sorrows to it from the devil. The devil puts his followers in bondage and hard labour, Jesus gives rest and peace of mind and comfort. Blessings of God does not take our conscience away, it doesn't make us do evils to those that trust us. The devil makes his followers wicked people, sacrificing souls they can't create to get wealth, devil takes their peace of mind away and adds sorrows to it for them. Today, we are being encouraged again to wait for the promise of God to bless us, though it tarry, it will surely come. God doesn't lie about blessing us. He just needs to prepare us for His blessings that is why it seems to take long before it arrives but definitely it will come. Remember again, it doesn't worth it losing your soul in hell fire just because you want to gain anything in this world. Nobody takes anything away from the world. Righteousness with contentment is great gain. May God help us.
