We thank God for sparing our lives to see and experience this year's Christmas day and Christmas season. May God's name be praised. Many people see Christmas as just a celebration time not understanding the deeper part of it. Jesus Christ is the One that we are celebrating at Christmas times. God commands the Israelites to set days aside for different celebrations so they can mark such days as nonforgetable days. Because as they celebrate yearly, the reason God wants them to celebrate the day becomes renewed in their hearts every time. Same with Christmas day. So don't listen to some pastors who say it's demonic to celebrate Christmas, it's not true. God approves of Christmas celebration. So it's not wrong for us to remember every year that Jesus Christ came to die for our sins. We are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden of Eden, the relationship between God and man was destroyed, that Adam hid himself from God when God called to know where he was, he said he was afraid. Sin makes people afraid, sin puts a burden on people, sin leaves and emptiness in people's hearts. Nothing else can fill this emptiness except God. God is our Creator and we cannot do without Him. When we are not in good relationship with Him there will be emptiness, the reason for Jesus Christ coming to the world is to help us fill this emptiness, Jesus Christ came to do the work of redemption that will redeem us back to God. And we can have the relationship that Adam lost with God again. Where we have no fears about life or about anything because God is there to comfort us and teach us all things. If you notice emptiness within, don't use smoking to fill it because it can't, don't use alcohol, it also won't fill it. Salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ alone is the solution for the emptiness. Don't continue to fight with your Maker, reconcile with Him. Ask for His forgiveness, tell God you want Him to give you peace and comfort and He should fill up the emptiness you feel. Jesus will do it. Don't just dance, eat and exchange gifts this season, also let Jesus give your heart rest from the troubles that come from not being in good relationship with God.
